Who are we looking for:

We are actively seeking a proficient DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly evolving team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software engineers to deploy and operate our systems, contribute to the automation and streamline our operations and processes, and focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement the most suitable cloud-based solutions for the company.
  • Manage CI/CD tools alongside the team.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain tools to streamline operational processes.
  • Implement infrastructure as code for various cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance existing code repositories for build and deploy scripts, primarily in Node.js.
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve system health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and work in tandem with the development team to simplify code deployment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, and recommend as necessary to keep the company at the forefront.

Qualities our ideal candidate has:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration
  • Familiarity with Node.js.
  • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with systems and IT operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and REST APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Motivated to learn new technologies and share knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
